At the age of 22, the founder of the GOSPEL INDIA MISSION, Santhosh Chellappan, had a confronation
with Jesus when he was actively working as a leader of Communist Party, which never believe in the existance of
any God. Its' motto is to achieve freedom through WAR.
After much strugle and suffering he kept his faith in the Lord, inspite
of threat for his life from the political party for which he worked for several years. Born in a family which was fully
committed to follow the Communist Marxist Party, he had to face rejection from his family too
By the guidance of the Holy Spirit, he came to Northern Part of India,
where he found Christianity is below 1 % and the burden for the lost soul inspired him to reach these poor people with
the love of Christ.
Later, along with his co-workers and friends started going to various
parts of India to preach and teach from the word of God.
God has blessed his life with a dedicated and God called woman, Ajitha as his wife. She is a teacher by
profession, but left the job and serving the Lord together with her husband. God has blessed
them with two children, Sancia(girl, 3.5 years). Sharon(6 months, boy).

One of the greatest work they are doing is among children. Every year thousands of children are deing
in India due to malnutrition, improper care and lack of proper medication, food etc.
Gospel India Mission is working among children and women by helping them for their study, stay and
fooding. With two orphanages, one in Maharashtra and another in Kerala, GIM is taking care of 31 children, who are either
single parented or orphan or from literally poor back ground.
 Making disciples for Christ according to the Great Commission given
by our Lord, GIM is reaching to various parts of India with their dedicated co-workers and planting churches and prayer
fellowships.
Working in the villages and slums are one of the main targets of GIM, as they are rejected by
all means and living without any hope for a better future. More than 600000 villages are still need to be evangelized.
GIM also taking care of orphan and poor children in various fields.
