One in every seven HIV-positive people lives in India, home
to an estimated 6 million people with the virus, according to UNAIDS, the United Nations’ HIV and AIDS prevention
agency.
Many people, particularly in rural India, simply do not know
they have the virus and die without treatment and it is spreading in every minutes.
We have started a new work among the Aids children. All of these children whom we support
are going to schools. We help them with free tuitions, providing school bags, books, school uniforms, dresses etc.
Pictured here, Ranjit, 11 years old lost her mother last year and his father is also an Aids
patient. He is studying in a government school in Delhi. We have given an special instruction to teachers of his school not
to reveal that he is an aids patient in order to avoid any misbehaviour from his class mates. Many aids children in India
are thrown out of the schools as teachers and parents of other children are afraid of infection. These children are innocent
as they are sick due others mistake.
We need your regular prayers for this ministry that we could continue helping these kids regularly.
Also pray for their good health.
We request you to please share about this work with your friends and family and encourage
them to pray and donate for this noble cause.
