Zela

Pastor Zela in front of His Church, which he build with his own hands. He was so happy to have this church raised up in Adavad Village in Maharashtra State of India.

Zela comes from Mizoram, which is in North-East part of India. But God has called him to serve in the villages. After a long time of study and prayers, he came to this village as the first missionary.

He started children ministry in the initial stage and that made him entry to many homes. Now more than ten thousand people have accepted Christ through his work.

15 young men dedicated their life for Gospel work through Pastor Zela's work. Many of these brothers are working in various parts of Maharashtra for God's glory.

Nandlal(blue shirt) and his brother Chandulal(white shirt) are two among many who have commited their life to serve the Lord. This picture shows that Nandlal and Chandulal standing with his entire family in front of their hut.

Nandlal's father(old man) was a cancer patient due to over usage of tobacco. Doctor has given him a moth time in 1996. He came to Pastor Zela and apologized rejecting Zelas repeated request to receive Christ and give up Tobacco.

Church prayed together and God healed him completely and he is living as an example of God's great healing work. This healing made many people to accept Christ and give up tobacco in this village.

Kindly pray for the work here. People are very poor and illiterated mostly here. But yougsters like Nandlal, who have come out of this situation and studied outside have come back with a decision to uplift their own people with the word of God.

We have started adult and children literacy programs and other social works apart from the Evangelism and Church Planting work.
